Illustration Friday #12 "Burst"


So I say to my sister, "look at the weird split lines in my tomato, what's that about?" And she replies "Well it's ready to burst, you have to pick it off the vine and eat it soon!" This is a painting-with-paper of my first successful tomato plant. More about size etc. on my Etsy shop.

    I loooove the transparency! Makes for very cool effects and depth. The dominance of green really makes the red pop. Fabulous!

    That's really really pretty. Like stained glass, linocut and cut-paper all rolled into one. You should do more vegetables and flowers Judy.
