Seemed only yesterday I was in Florida collecting sharks teeth and discovering new birds.
Before leaving for Florida husband and I completed a the art for a bird I had never seen before. The Sand Hill Crane. "Taller than a first grader" the text claims...and such exotic colors!
Imagine my surprise when I see a sign by the hotel reading "Sand Hill Crane Area"! And sure enough, the next day we see THREE cranes strolling on the side of the road.
Last week I got my issue of Ranger Rick Jr. with the little strip of art at the bottom. I am transported back to my warm December day.
