Mandala Monday: Coloring Book Reviews from the USA and UK!

I've had quite a few reviews of my coloring books. Claire's review from the UK came out yesterday. It's great because you can get a quick view of each of the pages from Merry Mandalas. Click here on Colour with Claire to view. How exciting, a review from across the pond!

Shyla's review is also great. It's live and you can see her turning the pages while she talks about the book. Click here for Shyla's review. Shyla's site is called Coloring for all, (it's a closed group you can ask to join). Check out both these great sites for oodles of information. Sign up and get lots of tips and info from other coloring enthusiasts.

In Claire review she writes "Judith has included a particular feature that I haven't seen in colouring books: A blank colour palette next to each design to fill in". Shyla also mentions my palette. I am continually making my own little scrap palettes like this one. They are very useful when you want to keep track of your colors on a page you won't be finishing in one sitting. I really need a nice big palette with more boxes.

Which brings me to today's "almost give away". Because the Palette is getting a couple favorable mentions I've decided to post a palette you can print yourself and have for all your coloring needs. But I didn't quite finish it. Any suggestions before I post it next week?

Should I put the specific colors down the right side or leave that part blank?
Do you think 144 color blocks is enough? Too much?
Let me know what you think, next week it will be down loadable.

Judith has included a particular feature that I haven't seen before in colouring books: a blank colour palette next to each design for you to fill in. It encourages you to plan a range of colours to use in the picture before you start, and I think it's a great idea that should be incorporated into more colouring books. - See more at: http://colourwithclaire.weebly.com/blog/coloring-ms-moffatts-merry-mandalas-by-judith-moffatt#sthash.IBCXyHuX.dpuf
