..and the best party to be at is the Highlights for Children's illustrators party.What fun it is to become another person (character)!
Here I am dressed as Maleficent hamming it up with another party goer "Mr. Enchantment".
I made my horned hat out of baby pants!
I sewed the legs into points and stuffed them. A second pair of pants were sacrificed for the chin strap. I was lucky to have the black dress. With my moms help we sewed on the lavender accents. My staff was a piece of PVC pipe sprayed black with a sparkly Christmas ball glued on. On my arm you can almost see "My Pet" a beautiful fake black crow.
