A day fit for a Queen. My Mum and I have Birthdays two days apart. This year was a big one for me so we rented a pretty little hall and celebrated in style.As I was to be Queen for the day I took advantage of the event and put together this costume. The tiara was bought for me last year by my "queen mum" pictured here in anticipation of an important day.
The queen mum turned 84 this year and just gave up mowing her one acre lawn! She is youthful and amazing, I hope I inherit her fantastic genes!
It was a tad nippy in the morning and I was at a loss as to what to wear. Then I remembered the wrap a girl friend had given me for my costume closet years ago. I had never worn it...this was the day!
