This is a published piece from "Jack and the Beanstalk". One of several stories from Dorling Kindersley's "P.B. Bears Favorite bedtime stories". Here we see the giant sleeping as clever jack nabs a couple coins to bring home to his mum. I must say I always felt a little bad for the giant losing all his stuff to Jack. But I guess he was a pretty mean guy.
Very clever. Well in a version of Jack in the Beanstalk, the giant killed off all of Jack's family and took over the castle in which Jack was actually born in. So...it could be that Jack is just taking back what's his.
ReplyDeleteI guess karma also applies to giants...Such a fresh, beautiful piece you've created! Glad to see your work posted on IF- I'm already a fan! :o)
