Author Alice Hoffman

I was crazy excited as Alice Hoffman signed her new book Survival Lessons. A lovely little book about surviving an illness. She writes "-I wrote Survival Lessons to remind myself of the beauty of life, something that's all too easy to overlook during the crisis of illness or loss. I forgot that our lives are made up of equal parts of sorrow and joy, and that it is impossible to have one without the other." Alice gave a great talk and answered questions in a beautiful old church in South Natick Tuesday night.
Sister Susan Harte, Alice and my niece Emma. We met my neighbor Annie there, who told me about event. Sponsored by the Natick Bacon Library who plan to have a speaker each month.
Nice picture girls!

  1. How lucky, Judy! She's one of my favorites. I've read some of her books more than once.
