Mandala Monday: Meditations & Inspirations

After seeing the Fairy Houses at Highfield Hall in Falmouth MA last week I was inspired to create some fairy art. I've been having so much fun with the garden and the fairies in it, I may just make a small coloring book on the subject.

If you are local to Cape Cod do try to see the Fairy House Exhibit. There are 30 houses on a shady walk thru the woods surrounding the  Highfield Hall mansion. Sally Mavor (creator of many books about making felt fairies) is the executive director and has put this fabulous exhibit together. $5 donation gets you into the exhibit, in doors and out!

Following are pictures from the houses boilt by some incredible artists.
Highfield Hall taked from the Sunken Garden.
Sunken Garden, Beautiful!
This house is built by Nicole who owns "Gallery 64 on Williams" in new Bedford MA

Nice landscaping on this house. Ad tiny lights!
Adorable Castle. The builder brought in the moss and the rocks.
Don't miss the mailbox house in the sunken garden!
Loved the little stone cottage outside the big house!

I wish I could tell you all the artists names but I have misplaced my program. Sally Mavor's 3 houses are outstanding, but you'll just have to see them for yourself. Watch out for the fairies in your garden!
