A walk in the Woods

After husband Bill and I took down the show at the Weston Gallery we stopped off at Broadmoor Bird Sanctuary in Sherborn. It was a perfect day, not to hot, not to cold. We walked a mile and 1/2  on the beautiful trails. Saw waterfalls, birds, chipmunks and a rare lady slipper. I have not seen a lady slipper flower in the wild since I was a kid!

It's an odd looking flower isn't it.

Art work is back at the studio, soon to be set up TC Scoops Ice Cream Parlor in Medway for the month of June.
More to come on that later.

  1. Lady slippers are not as rare as you think. They are sneaky things hiding in plain sight sometimes! I once hid a diamond ring under the leaves of a Lady slipper! Good to see you and Bill here. Broadmoor is a beautiful place.
