And I was this close to president Obama!
I was teaching at RISD this past Monday night. I had been warned to get to class early as the president was visiting at an undisclosed location. No sooner had I parked when the street in front of the school was closed off. People began lining up by the barricades, when they were told there would be a 1/2 hour delay.
I took this picture from my classroom window. You can see the people waving and the stream of car lights as the president and about 20 cars whizzed by along with motorcycle police, ambulance, and fire trucks. Helicopters where buzzing about... OOooooh it was so exciting.
